Critical Care Nurse Specialist

A critical care nurse specialist at SSM Health plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. With a strong focus on safety and efficiency, this role involves critical assessment, patient education, and collaborative work as part of the Cath Lab procedure team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform hemostasis safely and properly with or without vascular devices.
- Utilize critical judgment to analyze patient assessment and administer medications on all patients, including the critically ill patient.
- Routinely enter patient orders and charges, ensuring accuracy.
- Provide care for the critically ill patient, functioning independently in stressful situations.
- Educate patients and families based on assessed needs, documenting education provided and keeping them informed of tests and treatments.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent licensure.
- No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
This role is located within the Cardiac Cath Lab at SSM Health, where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
