Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Erlyns Taxes Corp. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily office operations, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively interact with clients, staff, and external partners. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Answering phones, responding to emails, and resolving client inquiries
  • Scanning, faxing, shredding, and maintaining confidential documents
  • Collections, record-keeping, and data entry
  • Office supply management and upkeep
  • Managing the waiting room and ensuring a positive client experience
Assisting Team Members

You will also assist the Owner with various tasks, including:

  • Clerical duties such as data entry, scanning, and reporting
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Assisting with financial report preparation and analysis
Supporting Staff

In addition, you will provide support to staff members, including:

  • Greeting clients in-store, virtually, or via phone service
  • Interviewing clients to understand their financial situation
  • Maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information
  • Assisting with quarterly reports and deadlines
  • Contribution to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Coursework in tax or accounting preparation
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Windows 7/8/10, Microsoft Office, and data entry
  • 50+ WPM typing speed
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus)
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant or Receptionist is desirable, along with knowledge of accounting and U.S. taxes. Proficiency in software such as OltPro, File Center, Xero, and Receipt Bank is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, requiring availability during Tax Season (January 27 - April 15) and potentially additional hours during Off-Tax Season. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Estimated Salary

$45,000 per year, based on location and experience.
