Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Food Services / Catering Worker to join our team at the University of Louisville. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in food preparation, customer service, and teamwork.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and building food items according to standardized recipes, properly storing food, and setting up workstations. You will also be expected to serve food to customers, maintain excellent customer service, and adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and build food items according to standardized recipes and directions
  • Properly store food in accordance with standards
  • Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating their needs
  • Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and coworkers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous food service experience (preferred)
  • Must have or acquire food safety certification
  • Demonstrate strong guest service skills
