Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Spine Sales Associate to join our team at Stryker Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and marketing our products to surgeons and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Gain clinical competency in spinal anatomy, imaging modalities, and Stryker Spine products.
  • Mastery of components, configuration, and usage of all Stryker Spine surgical sets.
  • Prepare and cover surgical cases to bring the highest degree of value to the surgeon, patient, and facility.
  • Move consignment and loaner inventory between accounts based on surgical needs.
  • Provide product training and support to customers, including advising on product selection and answering questions about product functionality.
  • Solve product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion.
  • Respond to customer complaints in accordance with company policy.
  • Keep sales representatives informed of territory happenings and progress.
  • Assist in product demonstrations and in-service trainings.
  • Work with Sterile Processing Department to ensure proper preparation and completion of surgical cases.
  • Understand and adhere to all hospital, operating room, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year accredited college or university preferred.
  • Three years' experience in a clinical and/or operating room environment or 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge of current office technologies (MS Office suite, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and develop and maintain relationships.
  • Comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to learn a product's key features and benefits.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to lift and carry samples and surgical instruments kits up to 40 pounds.
  • Availability to respond to customer emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
