Job Title: Clinical Program Therapist

At Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Program Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team. As a Clinical Program Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based interventions to promote the mental health and well-being of adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, psychiatric, and developmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on varying diagnoses
  • Provide weekly individual and family therapy, as well as twice weekly group therapy, in accordance with standards of practice and needs of the youth and family
  • Complete all clinical paperwork in a timely fashion, adhering to YBGR standards and applicable licensing and accreditation standards
  • Lead interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, rotating educational planning and team meetings
  • Responsible for the completion of all Therapy, milieu, and discharge planning documentation for MTPR's
  • Understand and communicate the justification for continued need for treatment at a PRTF level of care
  • Adhere to code of ethics, including The Child and Youth Worker Code of Ethics, The National Association of Social Worker Code, and The American Psychological Association Code
  • Complete psychological testing and intakes as assigned by supervisor
  • Perform duties related to licensure as an independent practitioner, including on-call duties, providing clinical training to team members and peers, and supervision of master-level interns
  • Contribute to the strategic goals and outcomes of the agency, as measured by the development and achievement of individual, departmental, and organizational goals and outcomes
  • Participate in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) goals of the organization, individually and as a team member
Requirements:
  • 21 years old or older
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or similar field
  • Professional License: Clinical Program Therapist - Current Montana SWLC, or PCLC, or MFLC, or obtain within 6 months of date of hire
  • Clinical Program Therapist - Current Montana LCSW, or PCLC, or MFLT
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to relate and build rapport with youth and families therapeutically
  • Ability to work in cooperation and collaboration with treatment team
  • Ability to adhere to code of ethics, including The Child and Youth Worker Code of Ethics, The National Association of Social Worker Code, and The American Psychological Association Code
  • Ability and willingness to maintain and enhance clinical skill set
  • Knowledge of and ability to maintain professional therapeutic boundaries and confidentiality with youth and families
  • Knowledge of behavior modification and age-appropriate child development
  • Good computer skills and ability to quickly learn and use YBGR selected software solutions
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate being self-motivated, self-disciplined, and diligent with forward thinking
  • Demonstrate the ability to think of their team over self and define success collectively rather than individually
  • The ability to effectively interact and communicate with others
