About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Capital One. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions
  • Provide production support, enhance monitoring tools, and build automation while utilizing DevOps best practices
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
  • Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • At least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with Terraform or Ansible
  • 2+ years of experience with container orchestration services including Docker or Kubernetes
  • 2+ years of experience with coding and scripting (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl or Ruby)
  • 2+ years of experience working with Agile Development Practices
  • 1+ years of experience with Security Information and Event Management (Splunk, Newrelic)
  • 1+ years of experience with CyberArk PSM, PKI, and Database technologies
