At Optimum, we're seeking a skilled Field Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our field services group, you will be responsible for installing, changing, repairing and disconnecting cable services including video, data, and telephone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installs, tests, and troubleshoots Company services including video, data, and telephone from tap to customer selected locations
  • Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values
  • Uses network tools and troubleshooting knowledge to resolve network problems
  • Educates customers regarding use of installed products; explains waivers, agreements, customer release forms, charges, and billing procedures
About Our Ideal Candidate:
  • We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent, who is able to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
  • Able to drive Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
  • Familiarity with basic electronics and computer skills, particularly with Windows-based computers
  • Prioritize tasks, organize work, and complete assigned duties efficiently and effectively
  • Work independently and as part of a team, if necessary
Compensation Package:

Estimated salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.
