About the Role

RxSense is a pioneering healthtech company dedicated to empowering clients and consumers with innovative technology solutions to access lower-cost prescription drugs. We're seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead our team and drive the development of our transformative cloud-based enterprise platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads a team of engineers in the design, development, and deployment of our cloud-based web platform.
  • Manages the architecture, quality, and measurability of our systems, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering managers, product managers, and designers, to understand user needs and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Builds infrastructure to handle millions of transactions and secure sensitive health data.
  • Designs and architects software capable of reaching millions of users.
  • Mentors less experienced peers and displays leadership as needed.
  • Takes product operational responsibility, sets measurable goals, and meets them.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of work-related industry experience developing high-performance web applications in C#/.NET.
  • Experience migrating client-server architecture to microservices architecture and a good working knowledge of message queuing systems.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in design and development of microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (like MySQL or SQL Server) and performance tuning.
  • Experience working with AWS offerings such as EC2, ALBs, RDS, Beanstalk, API Gateway or with a different cloud provider and similar services.
  • Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting application issues in a timely fashion.
