Global Operations Director

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Global Operations Director to lead high-impact operations for a global airline partner. This unique position places you at the intersection of operations, customer engagement, and project management, requiring you to oversee service delivery and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and clients worldwide.
As the Global Operations Director, you will act as the primary liaison between the company and a high-profile Airline client, ensuring service quality and operational excellence. You'll be tasked with optimizing service performance, leading onsite teams, and coordinating resources across multiple global locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee service delivery standards to ensure compliance with service levels and performance metrics.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the customer, managing relationships and resolving service-related issues.
- Site Visits & Inspections: Conduct site inspections and meetings to ensure alignment with project plans and compliance with regulatory requirements. Travel up to 30% worldwide to support onsite activities.
- Team Coordination: Lead and support onsite teams, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery. Facilitate communication across internal and external teams.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present performance reports, maintaining accurate documentation of agreements, metrics, and operational concerns.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, continuously driving process improvement, and implementing innovative solutions for service enhancement.
Requirements:
- Location Requirement: Must reside within commuting distance of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or military professional equivalent).
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably within aviation or transportation sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Leadership & Problem Solving: Proven ability to manage complex operations, lead cross-functional teams, and resolve challenges proactively.
- Communication Skills: Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Flexibility & Reliability: Adaptability to changing environments and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Military and commercial aviation experience.
- Project Management Certification (PMP) or similar credentials.
