Job Overview

At Photronics Inc., we are seeking an experienced Photomask Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team at our Boise, ID location. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of the photomask and/or semiconductor manufacturing process, be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, and have previous reticle and/or wafer lithography experience.

About the Role
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the engineering team to maximize the photomask production process
  • Lead and develop process engineers to achieve short and long-term goals
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with new product development efforts for site development masks, manufacturing insertion, and ramp
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance to current and future requirements
  • Partner with customers to implement new products, resolve problems, establish future requirements, and enhance relationships
  • Analyze and report on all key process metrics including yield, quality, productivity, and tool reliability
  • Lead the team to leverage Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other quality-related tools and concepts to perform root cause analysis, collect data, interpret control charts, and set control limits
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in leading and/or working in high technical function groups to resolve process, lithography, or pattern design issues
  • Experience in mask or wafer production, including one or more of lithography, develop, metrology, or OPC design
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Results-oriented and able to remain focused in a busy, multi-tasking environment
  • Eligibility to apply for and receive U.S. DOD Secret clearance
