We are seeking a qualified Business Instructor to teach non-credit courses for our Continuing Education program at Hagerstown Community College.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time position that involves teaching various business-related courses, including management, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The instructor will be responsible for planning detailed lesson plans, providing course descriptions and learning objectives, and delivering instruction using effective technology and methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students
  • Provide course descriptions and learning objectives to the Program Manager
  • Teach adult learners in a multicultural environment
  • Use technology effectively in the classroom
  • Submit class evaluations and other documents as directed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Previous experience teaching adult learners
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use technology in the classroom
  • Experience with lesson planning and delivery

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on education and experience.
