Acenda Integrated Health is on the lookout for a Clinical Supervisor/Therapist to enhance the Therapeutic Visitation Services Program.

Position Overview: Clinical Supervisors/Therapists are responsible for providing regular oversight and development of staff, along with delivering in-home therapy aimed at strengthening the parent-child bond and achieving sustainable family reunification, ensuring child safety and welfare. Flexible schedules, agency vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone are provided.

Key Responsibilities for Supervisors:
  • Deliver effective staff and case supervision in line with the established Supervision for Success model.
  • Coach staff on case-related issues, needs, goals, interventions, and documentation.
  • Provide timely feedback to staff, fostering their performance, professional growth, productivity, and quality of service.
  • Address performance concerns with staff in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure staff adhere to the Program Manual and agency policies and procedures.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations of staff promptly.
Key Responsibilities for Therapists:
  • Educate, coach, and guide parents in meeting their children's physical, emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
  • Offer therapeutic support and interventions for parents, addressing trauma and loss.
  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions during and outside of visits, focusing on sustainable family reunification and child safety.
  • Collaborate with visit counselors and DCP&P staff to ensure seamless service integration.
  • Implement appropriate intervention strategies and adjust services as needed.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field is required. MSWs must possess an active NJ license (LSW).
  • Prior professional experience in providing treatment services to families is essential.
  • Ability to analyze work, set goals, develop plans, and utilize time effectively is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and a satisfactory driving record are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a supervisory role and working with children in foster care is preferred.
