We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

As an MRI Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance technology. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate and safe imaging results, which will inform medical decisions and improve patient outcomes.

You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care and ensure seamless communication throughout the imaging process.

  • Perform MRI scans and interpret images to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing reassurance and support as needed
  • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
  • Position patients correctly for MRI scans, using immobilization and protective equipment when necessary
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance, as required
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label appropriately
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in MRI or related field
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification
  • BLS certification
  • State-specific licensing, where required
Salary and Benefits
