We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Service Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members, ensuring a positive experience, and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and friendly service to members, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Process financial transactions accurately, maintaining a cash drawer and adhering to security protocols.
  • Act as a first line of defense in detecting and reporting fraud or irregular activities, ensuring the integrity of our operations.
  • Engage with members, asking relevant questions, identifying solutions, and making recommendations to deepen relationships.
  • Respond to general member inquiries, providing information on products, services, lending, and other relevant topics.
  • Problem-solve and resolve member issues, escalating concerns to management as needed.
  • Promote awareness and education of self-service resources, including digital channels.
  • Participate in cross-selling initiatives, campaigns, promotions, and events, supporting branch and corporate goals.
  • Seek development opportunities, taking advantage of coaching, job shadowing, mentoring, and training.
  • Achieve goals and objectives set by management, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or GED) and customer service experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Flexibility to work out of any location, as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods.
