PrideStaff is currently seeking a skilled High Voltage Electrical Specialist to join our team for a Manufacturing client in Belmont, NC. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of industrial electrical and/or maintenance experience and be able to work with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, and plant shutdown PM inspections, repairing equipment, documenting tasks, and maintaining good relationships with supervisors and team members.

Job Summary

The High Voltage Electrical Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment by performing preventative and corrective maintenance. This includes troubleshooting, assessing, and repairing equipment, as well as building control panels from scratch. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to accurately fill out all paperwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Minimize production downtime by immediately responding to emergency/corrective maintenance requests
  • Perform comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, and plant shutdown PM inspections according to PM check sheets
  • Repair all equipment, including conveyor belts, shredders, grinders, and plastics extrusion machinery
  • Document, organize, prioritize, and schedule maintenance tasks that require machine/line to be down
  • Maintain good relationships between supervisors and team members
Requirements:
  • 5 years minimum industrial electrical and/or maintenance experience
  • Basic hand tools including Multi-meter and Amp meter
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Ability to troubleshoot, assess, and repair equipment
  • Ability to build control panels from laying it out to final installation (including all control wiring and hooking up to main power)
Compensation:

$32-$36 per hour
