About the Role
\We are seeking a highly motivated Life Insurance Sales Agent to join our team at New York Life Greater Atlanta.
\This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who is passionate about helping families and businesses achieve financial security and peace of mind through our insurance, annuity, and investment solutions.
\The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a list of prospective clients, marketing our insurance products, and showcasing our offerings to new customers. They will also help policyholders navigate the claims process, provide personalized service to clients, and work closely with our team to meet sales goals.
\In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, receive comprehensive training and ongoing support, and leverage your skills and experience to make a real impact in the lives of our clients.
\Key Responsibilities

- Develop a list of prospective clients and market our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies\
- Process current policyholders' insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims\
- Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience\
- Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly manner, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies\
- Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current\
Requirements

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must\
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite\
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is a plus\
- Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued\
- Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued\

\Compensation and Benefits
\The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on location and experience.
