Job Summary

MetroHealth is seeking a skilled Patient Care Nurse Assistant to join our Emergency Department team in Cleveland Heights. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will work alongside our experienced nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily living activities, taking vital signs, performing ECGs and phlebotomy, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

You will be working in our state-of-the-art Level One Trauma Center, where you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in emergency medicine. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments
  • Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
  • Prior experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital setting is preferred, but not required
