About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. As a key member of our Infusion Unit and ambulatory practices, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in the outpatient setting, including hematology and oncology disorders.
  • Collaborate with primary disease center providers to care for complex oncology patients awaiting hospital admission.
  • Work closely with nursing staff to provide complex care coordination and symptom management through indirect patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the commonwealth of Massachusetts as a certified NP/PA.
  • DEA and MCSR certification required.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an APP in oncology, with hematology malignancies experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
