Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Direct Orthopedic Care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for providing high-quality x-ray services to our patients.

About the Role

  • You will take initial x-rays per protocol and any follow-up x-rays as directed by the provider.
  • You will provide exceptional patient care by ensuring a welcoming and courteous experience for all guests.
  • You will maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all protocols to reduce anxiety and ensure each guest departs with their questions answered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Flow Management: You will lead the registration process, collect demographic information, verify insurance coverage, and collect copays.
  • Radiation Protection: You will minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques and following established protocols.
  • CPT Code Input: You will accurately input CPT codes into our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will ensure the proper functioning of radiology equipment by completing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT(R)).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
