Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Chemist to join our team at Tyson Foods Inc. in a night-shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and microbiology, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various chemical, microbiological, and quality system analyses in an accredited food safety laboratory.
  • Collect and maintain accurate records for process control and compliance with policies, quality systems, and safety requirements.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic service and maintenance on instruments and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve routine problems and plan work tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, such as chemistry, biology, microbiology, or food science.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
