Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Program Director for Financial Literacy and Education at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). As a member of our team, you will play a key role in developing and implementing programs that promote financial literacy and education, particularly among underserved populations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the mission of the Initiative for Financial Decision Making (IFDM), a collaboration between the GSB, SIEPR, and the Economics Department.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management expertise to ensure the effective operation of IFDM's programs and activities.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
  • Financial Management: Manage IFDM's budget and resources to ensure effective use and allocation.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in program development and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial literacy and education initiatives, preferably in an academic or non-profit setting.
