Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, transferring, and rotating food and beverage items in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and store food and beverage items in accordance with food services policy and procedures
  • Transfer and rotate stock to ensure optimal inventory levels
  • Audit incoming shipments and packing slips for quality and accuracy
  • Communicate all substitution information with the department supervisor, manager, and/or clinical nutrition manager
  • Identify and communicate items with low inventory and other department needs
Requirements

To be successful as an Inventory Management Specialist, you must have:

  • Strong organizational skills and abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended time periods, up to 6 hours
  • Required working with chemicals, heated equipment, and steam
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
