Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses.
- Prepare and process samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and functioning.
- Analyze test results and ensure accuracy by comparing them to established standards.
- Follow strict protocols for infection control and safety procedures.
- Document and report test results in a clear and timely manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with tests or equipment.
- Maintain and update inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Associate's degree in Laboratory Technology, Medical Technology, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certification as a Laboratory Technician (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is preferred.
- Proven experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory setting is a plus.
