RSG Forest Products, a leading lumber manufacturing company in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team at our Molalla, OR facility. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting 480V 3-phase electrical systems, as well as programming and maintaining PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
  • PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs to optimize system performance and resolve issues promptly.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and repair electrical issues on various equipment during production hours, prioritizing safety and minimizing downtime.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A valid Journeyman's license or equivalent experience in industrial electrical work.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical systems, with a focus on motor control circuits and PLC programming.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley Motor Control Centers and Yaskawa VFDs is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of National Electric Code and electrical safety protocols.
