Thomas Metcalf 5th Grade Girls Basketball Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thomas Metcalf 5th Grade Girls Basketball Coach to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a dynamic leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring compliance with Laboratory Schools and IHSA/IESA policies.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and leadership among students.
  • Contribute to the educational development of students through your work with the activity, aligning with the School's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students.
  • Develop and deliver engaging coaching sessions that promote skill development and teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and productive experience.
Requirements:
  • CPR/AED certification is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in coaching or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
