Job Summary

Capability Health and Human Services is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Early Intervention program. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with clients to develop or regain physical or mental functioning by implementing programs to improve speech delays, conditions, and feeding issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement therapy programs to improve speech and language skills in clients.
  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations to assess client needs and determine the need for speech/language/feeding therapy.
  • Interpret evaluation data and write comprehensive reports to guide evidence-based intervention.
  • Maintain clinical and administrative records in accordance with professional standards and agency policy.
  • Manage case assignment and participate in multidisciplinary case meetings to review client progress.
Requirements
  • Initial certification by the National Board for Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Current Speech Therapy License from the State of Nevada required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with children using knowledge of treatment practices per discipline required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Working Conditions

This position will require up to 80% travel within the service delivery area. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
