About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting exposure factors.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures and obtain clinical history.
  • Identify patient and label images, compare requisitions to physician's orders, and process images ensuring quality of radiographs.
  • Assist physicians, communicate, and consult with them as needed.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competent in radiology positioning and techniques.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, anatomy, and radiology equipment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
