Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Walden Family Services. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide direct clinical services to foster children and families, utilizing your expertise in child and adolescent mental health to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to foster children and families
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Provide caregiver trainings and support to foster families
  • Participate in on-call services as needed
  • Work with community partners to provide comprehensive community-based services
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner to ensure productivity outcomes are met
Requirements
  • Must be licensed Psychologist, MFT, LCSW, or Associate CSW
  • Must possess at least 1 year of experience working with child and adolescent mental health services and/or direct work with children and families in the foster care system
  • Must possess direct experience working with emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children
  • Familiarity with mental health paperwork and procedures preferred
  • Must be able to work effectively with others as a treatment team member
  • Must be available to work some evenings
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license and have a good driving record
  • Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearances from the Department of Justice
  • Must meet all requirements set by Community Care Licensing pertaining to the hiring of employees by a licensed community care facility
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality clinical services to our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
