Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to join our team at TSR Consulting Services, Inc. as a Tax Support Specialist.

About the Role

This is a 6 month contract to Permanent position with a Fortune 100 Company, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Consulting with clients to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet their business needs.
  • Guiding and driving clients towards the best solution for their business requirements.
  • Analyzing existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partnering with clients to understand their business and related needs, and incorporating new processes, tools, and approaches when recommending solutions.
  • Utilizing broad knowledge to recommend solutions to clients when appropriate.
  • Understanding client business issues and concerns, and recommending and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Interacting and collaborating with associates in sales and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintaining and expanding knowledge and proficiency on implementation job function, products/services, and implementation best practices.
Complex Projects

You will be responsible for completing complex projects including:

  • Calculation updates, special reports, tax amendments, company setup, troubleshooting.
  • PTO, OT, Double Time researches historical data for adjustments needed.
  • Researches Benefit Accruals recalculates and imports corrections.
  • Assists Clients with tax changes for understanding, conducts research and follow-ups as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience working in a client service/customer service environment or;
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Payroll or Tax experience.
  • Proven ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands.
  • Ability to work both independently to provide solutions to clients and as part of a team to accomplish tasks.
  • Strong client relationship skills including the ability to influence clients and guide them to the best solution to help resolve their client needs.
  • Must be comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards.
  • Must be able to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise, and escalate to the appropriate level.
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations.
  • Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
