About the Role

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Edmore, MI. As an Academic Achievement Specialist, you will work with students in K-12 settings, providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions to support their academic, emotional, and social success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs, including learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and emotional issues
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies and interventions that promote student success
  • Participate in special education assessments, eligibility determinations, and IEP meetings
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, counseling techniques, and intervention strategies
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in a school setting (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
