Job Summary:
DSJ Global is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the seafood manufacturing industry.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to design, implement, and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, including HACCP and FDA guidelines.
  • Lead and participate in projects aimed at process improvement, cost reduction, and new product development. Monitor project progress and report on outcomes.
  • Provide technical assistance to production teams, addressing issues related to equipment operation, production methods, and process challenges.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement. Utilize statistical methods to support decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into manufacturing processes.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, ensuring compliance in all engineering practices and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the seafood or food processing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and process optimization methodologies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
