Radiology Technologist with CT Certification Opportunities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complete education and clinical requirements to gain their CT Certification while making CT Technologist pay. The role involves performing routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting and positioning patients on the CT table
  • Starting IVs for contrast injection when necessary
  • Assessing image quality and making adjustments as needed
  • Releasing customers with proper post-procedure instructions
  • Turning over and preparing rooms using aseptic technique between patients and cleaning/sterilizing equipment
  • Following radiation safety procedures and guidelines

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • BCLS required within 30 days of hire
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning
  • On-Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back
