Vascular Access Nurse

Children\u2019s Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Access Team. As a Vascular Access Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care and establishing and maintaining optimum venous access for our pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients for and place peripheral intravenous catheters, ultrasound-guided PIVs, midlines, and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs)
- Function as a subject matter expert for PIVIE assessment, extravasation treatment, and intraosseous access
- Provide vascular access care based on the age-related needs of the patient and family
Shift:
12-hour shifts, 3 shifts/7-day week, 7a-7p, with potential for rotation to mid-shift or nights
Highlights of the Role:
- Respond to vascular needs across the hospital
- Work as part of a team to provide service 24/7
- Promote vessel health and preservation through education and training
