Job Title:

Account Executive - Higher Education

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our Higher Education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the higher education sector, as well as growing and expanding existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively work a defined territory of higher education institutions to hit net new quota targets
  • Generate new opportunities through collaboration with our team of SDRs and individual prospecting
  • Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to uncover institutional initiatives and problems
  • Forecast and accurately track account activity through the CRM system
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Vector's offerings and services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in net new business sales
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
  • Experience working with higher education institutions is preferred
  • Experience using MS products and Salesforce CRM is preferred
