About the Role:

As a mobile radiologic technologist at DispatchHealth Management, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in various settings. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to diverse locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures for diagnostic imaging exams, prioritizing patient safety and image quality.
  • Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment, determining exposure factors to achieve optimal results.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
  • Process and review images for diagnostic quality, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Complete all necessary forms, records, and reports, maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and systems, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ensure the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies, maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, staying up-to-date on industry standards.
  • Conduct training and orientation for other employees, sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Assist with administrative and customer support functions as directed, providing exceptional service.
  • Exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude in all interactions, embodying the DispatchHealth Management values.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of company computers and technology, staying current with system updates.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements for portable x-rays, ensuring compliance.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record, prioritizing safety.
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, demonstrating physical stamina.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, showcasing flexibility.
