Field Sales Account Executive

Job Summary:

The Field Sales Account Executive position is responsible for driving sales growth and new account penetration in the Richmond, VA territory. This role requires building professional sales relationships with customers in all channels of distribution, utilizing a consultative selling style that operates independently on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed projected sales goals based on territory quota established by sales management.
  • Maximize time management skills to utilize opportunities in all stages of the sales funnel.
  • Maintain territory call cycle, with approximately 5-7 pre-set appointments per workday.
  • Develop new business within the geographic territory.
  • Utilize a strong business acumen and consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and profile the account.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience in any industry.
  • Tangible product sales experience desirable.
  • Ability to make presentations to various sized customer groups.
  • MS Suite and CRM system experience (Salesforce, Tableau, Showpad).

Work Environment:

Prolonged sitting in front of a computer occasionally.

Travel within the territory is expected 80% of the time, with occasional travel outside of the territory for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings.
