Senior Occupational Therapist Position in Shelby County, TN

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide personalized care to patients in Shelby County, TN.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients as per physician's plans. The successful candidate will develop and implement treatment programs designed to improve patient functionality through various rehabilitative techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy services according to written physician's plans of care.
- Develop and establish treatment goals for improved function.
- Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Teach new skills and retrain patients on daily activities affected by illness or injury.
- Fabricate splints and instruct patients on adaptive equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports any changes in patient condition to physicians.
- Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist (preferred).
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance.
- CPR certification.
