**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for prioritizing and managing projects through the development cycle, coordinating with various departments to move new products from conception to production, and championing new product opportunities in the consumer market segment.

**Key Responsibilities**

Main Objectives:

  • Prioritize and manage projects through the development cycle
  • Coordinate with various departments to move new products from conception to production
  • Champion new product opportunities in the consumer market segment

Project Management:**

  • Create financial projections for new products
  • Work with editorial newsrooms to define specifications for new products
  • Manage the improvement of existing web and email newsletter-based products

Team Collaboration:

  • Create detailed product specifications for use by technology, marketing, editorial, and other groups to implement product improvements
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to implement improvements or roll out new products

Customer Feedback:**

  • Solicit feedback from existing customers via surveys and focus groups to gauge customer satisfaction and how to improve our product offering

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of agile development methodology and proven results in developing and executing successful continuity products. A Bachelor's degree with at least 4-6 years' experience in product management/development is required. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, communication skills – both written and verbal – along with honed presentation skills. Attention to detail and financial modeling experience are also essential. Strong leadership skills are required, and a degree in marketing is preferred. Understanding of investment, trading, and personal finance concepts and market trends is a plus.

**Salary Estimate:** Based on industry standards and location, the salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum.
