Expediter

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of orders in the kitchen. The Expediter receives tickets from servers or printers and communicates with kitchen staff to prepare menu items.

• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Maintain a positive attendance record and adhere to time-off and illness procedures.
• Ensure high standards of sanitation and safety in the kitchen.
• Meet uniform and appearance standards.
• Provide exceptional guest service and maintain a customer complaint ratio of less than 1 per 100 customers served.
• Know all menu items and accurately explain specials to guests.
• Understand table numbering and delegate assignments accurately.
• Communicate orders to kitchen staff with 100% accuracy.
• Serve complete meals within 1 hour per table.
• Perform side work correctly and follow end-of-shift checkout procedures.
• Check food quality and communicate orders to servers within 1 minute of receipt.
• Maintain a positive team environment and assist colleagues with station duties and side work when needed.

• Ability to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to work well with others and demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to pass food safety training.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
