Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient Support, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and dispensing prescribed medications for patients
  • Compounding medications
  • Assisting in managing inventory
  • Performing charging and crediting functions for medications
  • Completing routine clerical/administrative tasks

Additionally, you'll be accountable for maintaining a clean and safe environment, using appropriate aseptic technique, handling controlled substances appropriately, and completing all educational modules.

Qualifications

Requirements include:

  • Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program
  • One year of hospital work experience or hospital rotation within an accredited training program
  • Current license as a Pharmacy Technician by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy
