Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Georgetown, KY. As a part-time MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, preparing equipment and supplies, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for MRI procedures.
  • Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
  • Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
  • Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a program in Radiology Technology.
  • Associate's Degree.
  • MRI Board Certified.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (ARRT).
Work Schedule

This is a part-time position working 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $31,000 to $32,000.
