This role involves greeting customers, verifying residency, and assisting with various tasks related to the facility's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and check-in guests to the gym, lap pool, and tanning bed.

• Open and close the fitness facility as scheduled, ensuring all equipment is secure and ready for use.

• Offer assistance to residents and visitors in understanding the use of fitness equipment, promoting a safe and healthy environment.

• Supervise the proper use and storage of fitness equipment, ensuring residents and visitors follow facility rules and regulations.

• Collaborate with group instructors and assist residents with signing in or signing up for group classes.

• Maintain a clean and organized facility, reporting any cleanliness or janitorial issues to management immediately.

• Assist the gym director in keeping equipment clean and orderly, ensuring a positive experience for all users.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training in the fitness or customer service industry.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.

• CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds, as well as regularly stand, walk, and climb stairs.

Communication:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with management, coworkers, and residents.

Attendance and Punctuality:

• Reliable and consistently at work and on time, with a willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Travel:

• Travel may be required within the Southern California and Arizona Region.

Competency Requirements:

• An energetic and positive leader with strong people management skills, effective communication, and training abilities.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, remain organized, and focused under pressure, with a results-driven approach.

• Calmly and effectively manage conflict, difficult, and/or emotional situations, focusing on resolving issues and achieving a positive outcome.

• General understanding of company policies and laws applicable to the conduct of business, with the ability to follow and enforce such policies and laws.

• Maintains confidentiality and discretion with regard to sensitive proprietary and confidential information of the company, residents, and customers.

Pay range: $17.65-$21.53/hr
