Job Description:
Allegiance Staffing Greensboro is seeking a full-time PM Cook for the Greensboro area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems, control food waste, loss and usage per SOP.
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare more than estimated needs.
- Date all food containers and rotate as per the SOP, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
- Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up.
- Assist in keeping buffet stocked.
- Return all food items not used on next shift to design storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables.
Requirements:
- Be able to work nights, weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Be self-motivated.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Willing to help out where needed, including helping wash dishes.
- Must complete hiring process.
- Must meet background requirements.
- Must complete Drug screening.
- Must be able to interview with client.
