Senior Event Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Event Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing high-quality events that exceed our guests' expectations.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Events Manager. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and decorations
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor event details accordingly
- Develop and execute event budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to company standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
- Solicit feedback from clients and employees to identify areas for improvement
- Conduct site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, events management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in events coordination or related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
