Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our OAGH Medical Surgical Unit as a Full-Time Day Shift RN. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
  • Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies to promote patient education and empowerment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Delegate and manage nursing team resources to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
