Job Summary:

As a skilled Baker at Foodtown, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food products that meet the expectations of our customers. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation will ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
  • Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation
  • Present and garnish final dishes to meet customer expectations

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or food preparation environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
