We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Step Up Rehab, a state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility in beautiful Naples, FL. In this role, you will provide exceptional rehabilitative care to our residents in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and functionality for our patients. Your expertise and compassion will enable you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to enhance patients' functional skills and mobility
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance our rehabilitation services and patient satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as an occupational therapist in the state of Florida
  • Experience: Prior experience in occupational therapy is required; experience in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) is preferred
  • Education: Successfully completed an accredited occupational therapy program recognized by the Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
  • Skills: Strong administrative and public relations skills to build effective relationships with patients and colleagues
