Culinary Artist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at the Ashland Hills Hotel. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure freshness and quality of all station items

• Prepare various meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using diverse cooking methods

  ">

• Maintain sufficient stock levels for smooth service

  ">

• Assist with food prep during off-peak periods as needed

  ">

• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish guidelines

  ">

• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and properly handle, store, and rotate products

  ">

• Keep reach-in and walk-in coolers clean and organized

  ">

• Comply with standard portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen policies

  ">

Requirements:

• One year of culinary experience preferred

• Relevant government licenses or certificates

  ">

• Knowledge of food preparation, materials, and equipment

  ">

• Self-starter with ability to work flexibly and as part of a team

  ">

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Capacity to multitask and work under pressure

Compensation:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly wage between $19-$20 per hour, depending on experience.
