Job Overview

About the Role
This junior-level position involves designing and developing FPGA-based hardware, as well as learning basic systems engineering fundamental skills. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers who design, develop, evaluate, verify, and provide in-service engineering support for the Navy's aircraft launch and recovery system.

Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Hardware Design Specialist, you will be responsible for FPGA-based design implementation from concept-to-production, creating approaches to engineering processes, developing and updating drawings and documentation, developing and analyzing modular systems solutions, and system testing and validation.

At BAE Systems, we offer a competitive salary range of $77,570 - $128,480, depending on qualifications and experience. Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in hardware and FPGA firmware design. You should also have computer-aided design experience, ability to develop and interpret schematic diagrams and PCB layout drawings, Xilinx field-programmable gate array (FPGA) design using VHDL, basic understanding of analog and digital circuits, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
