Front Desk Support Assistant

About the Job
The Front Desk Support Assistant will provide exceptional customer service to students and guests, responding to phone calls, assisting office staff, and completing special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support including greeting guests, distributing mail, and preparing mailings as needed
- Assist in maintaining computer equipment, bulletin boards, and organizing book inventory
- Run errands on campus, refill paper in printers, check toner, and organize classrooms
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of previous office experience and customer service preferred
- Basic knowledge of computer/keyboard skills, preferably Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information
Working Conditions
- Incumbent normally works in a typical office or educational environment
- Occasional lifting, reaching, and bending
Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is $25,000 per year, based on market conditions and industry standards. This is a Federal Work Study (FWS) student employee position open only to currently enrolled Bellevue University students who have Federal Work Study as part of their financial aid package.
